A day spent enjoying one of his favourite sports quickly turned into the unimaginable; Cobyn was riding his bike at the Canda Olympic Park (COP) when he suddenly crashed. The next thing he recalls is waking up on the ICU unit at Foothills Hospital in Calgary.

August 30th 2015 was the day that everything changed for Amanda. She was driving home from shopping with two friends when they were t-boned at an uncontrolled intersection.
After 13 months in the hospital recovering from a Traumatic Brain Injury and beginning her rehabilitation journey, Amanda had to adjust to her new reality.

Little did Char know that on the second day into a 60km backpacking trip in late August 2020, the adventure awaiting that day would not be a summit, but rather an emergency long line evacuation from search and rescue and a rendezvous with STARS air ambulance.
So who is Team Jigger for?
Team Jigger is for EveryBODY! While our inspiration sprung from the rehabilitation of spinal cord injuries and associated disorders, our capacity for helping is not limited to that!
Regardless of your age, physical abilities or situation, Team Jigger is here to help! Our doors are open to EveryBODY to move, connect, and receive a variety of treatments.
From age 1 to 101, there will be something at Team Jigger that you can benefit from!
