Together EveryBODY Achieves More
Community collaboration for greater athletic accessibility.
The founder of Team Jigger Foundation, Jason Lunn, has pledged to attempt to walk the length of the MEGlobal Athletic Park Football Field.
Utilizing a specialized piece of equipment to support his endeavour, Jigger will walk the 100 yards as a way to promote accessAbility and accessAble athletics in our community.
Back in January 2011, Jigger was in a car accident which left him with two vertebral fractures (at C6 & C7) along with a spinal cord injury. Jigger refused to allow the diagnosis of 'quadriplegic' get in the way of how he lived his life and has worked hard every day since to maintain and progress his mobility. Being told that he would never walk again only sparked his motivation to prove all these nay-sayers wrong; He will walk again, and he will help others to do the same.
Join us in celebrating this momentous feat on Friday, September 16th, 2022 at the MEGlobal Athletic Park Field House in Lacombe, AB. The event will be held in conjunction with the Lacombe Rams High School Football game!
